Management Accountant
We are thrilled to support a dynamic Surrey-based organisation in their search for a talented Management Accountant.

Salary: £37,000 - £42,000 pa
Fixed Term Contract: 1 Year
Working hours: Full-Time, 35 hours per week
Location: Surrey (Hybrid – 3 days working in the Office)
Job Purpose:
To work in a team with the responsibility of providing management information for the organisation and its subsidiaries. The role includes assisting in the preparation of the annual financial statements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate management information with commentary and analysis to senior managers and discuss with budget holders
- Analyse and work with complex spreadsheets and data sets to produce clear management information
- Support the production of the monthly reporting pack, which will include the maintenance and use of management information tools
- Coordinate with senior leaders in the provision of budget upload and phasing for different departments
- Review budget allocations and phasing on an annual basis
- Assist in the preparation of the Financial Statements
- Complete government statistical return, VAT returns, gift aid and landlords return
- Support in the maintenance of Risk Management system and Risk registers
- Carry out financial due diligence on potential collaborative partners escalating concerns or issues to relevant managers/ stakeholders
Person Specification:
- Part-Qualified Accountant or Finalist qualification (E)
- Excellent IT skills and experience, including the use of Financial Systems and able to create and use complex excel spreadsheets such as Lookup’s and Pivot Tables (E)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills to explain concepts to expert and non-expert audiences (E)
- Experience of Agresso/Unit 4 Business World (D)
