Venn Group are delighted to have partnered with an outstanding organisation in the Education sector, to source an interim Marketing Executive for the following assignment:
Location: Bedfordshire (two days per week on-site)
Contract: 12 months FTC
Hours: 37 hours per week
Rate: £26,860 - £30,513 per annum
The main duties of this role will include:
- Acting as a member of an ‘internal marketing agency’ to support colleagues; writing and preparing design briefs, liaising with academic staff and other stakeholders, sourcing images, editing content and creating PowerPoint presentations
- Maintaining and updating web pages, working closely with external suppliers whilst also providing marketing advice to non-marketing colleagues
- Sourcing, planning out, and creating content for quarterly eNewsletters, then creating the eNewsletter and managing the send out process, liaising with colleagues to ensure that content has the biggest impact across all channels, both internal and external
- Writing engaging, storytelling copy that educates, excites, and informs. This could include academic or alumni interviews, or writing content for event and alumni service marketing (e.g. brochures, emails, web pages)
- Assisting non-marketing colleagues to create both print and digital collateral, ensuring that GDPR legislation is adhered to at all times and consent is sought and logged for all content collected
- Writing and sourcing content for the weekly e-bulleting, working closely with key stakeholders to maximise external engagement
The ideal candidate should have:
- Demonstrable experience of producing engaging written and digital content for a range of stakeholders
- Strong written communications skills
- Experience using Canva, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Wordpress, HTML or any other similar software packages is desirable
