Operations Manager - Planned Maintenance

We are working with a distinguished client who is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join their team. 

Location: Cambridgeshire
Hours: 37.5 
Salary: £50,000 - £57,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities: 

• Manage the Planned Operations.
• Ensure that all works are programmed and committed and monitor variations to works ordered to ensure budget forecast accuracy.
• Manage the work of the Surveyors and to ensure accuracy.
• Develop and manage programmes for the effective survey and monitoring other property surveys.
• Ensure that maximum efficiencies are being derived through procurement opportunities and effective supply chain management.
• Be responsible for specifying and managing contracts and contractors, ensuring appropriate contracts/contract management and reporting exists.

Experience:

• Proven record of effective contract/project management.
• Experience of working in a building, housing or related context.
• Good understanding of building technology within housing and related areas.
• Experience of strategic housing maintenance planning and performance management.

Qualifications:

• Full Membership of RICS or CIOB or working towards.
• Relevant Degree level qualification.
