Job Title: Payroll Administrator
Location: London
Salary: Circa £28,000 per annum to £30,000 per annum – dependant on experience
An opportunity has arisen for a hardworking and enthusiastic Payroll Administrator to work within a prestigious company. You will be working as part of a Payroll & Billing team, reporting to the Payroll Manager and you will be involved in all aspects of data entry for the weekly payrolls for temporary staff using Access pay and bill system.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Inputting and checking manual timesheets
- Processing starters declarations
- Administration of Expense payments
- Producing basic reports
- Portal administration
- Batching and linking the e-mail timesheets for input
- Checking and verification of input data
- Responding to all telephone and emailed payroll queries from all stakeholders in a timely and polite manner
- Issuing PAYE payslips and Limited Company Self Bill Remittances
- General administration duties such as filing & linking scanned documents
- Print P45’s for Leavers and P60s
- Produce Statement of Earnings letters when requested
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience of working in a payroll position with knowledge of current payroll legislations (i.e. PAYE, NICs, SMP etc.)
- Very good interpersonal skills with an excellent telephone manner
- The ability to work to deadlines/under pressure and work additional hours if required
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail
