An exciting position has arisen for a Payroll Manager to work for a well-known performing Arts Organization based in Central London. The role will involve running a monthly and weekly payroll service and will report to the Head of Finance and Operations. The postholder will be leading the Payroll department and will be the main point of contact for the outsourced Payroll company.
Key responsibilities:
- Processing the monthly payroll of over 300 in house staff
- Processing the weekly payroll of over 100 freelance contractors
- Implementing and maintaining payroll routines in compliance with relevant statutory provisions
- Implementing and maintain pension routines
- Preparing monthly and quarterly payroll journals and relevant balance sheet control accounts
- Be the main point of contact for payroll pension queries
- Ensuring all RTI submissions - FPS, EPS & are completed in a timely manner
- Ensuring all end of year P60s and produced and provided to employees
- Ensuring accurate information are obtained for P11D’s and submitted to HMRC
- Ensuring all other payroll routines are completed and payroll journals are prepared
- Managing and motivating a Payroll Officer
Successful candidate profile:
- At least 5 years Payroll experience
- Proficient on all Microsoft office packages including Intermediate Excel
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
