An Uxbridge based educational organisation is looking to appoint a Payroll Manager to join their evolving HR department.
The post holder is responsible for providing a professional, effective payroll and pensions service to the organisation.
Job responsibilities:
- Responsible for the delivery of an expert, effective and accurate payroll processing service
- Responsible for ensuring that the payroll software, Agresso Unit 4 Business World, is up to date and calculating payroll accurately
- Responsible for the completion of all payroll transactions and statutory returns on a weekly and monthly basis
- Responsible for preparing manual salary calculations as required from time to time in between pay periods
- Responsible for direct liaison with statutory pay bodies (e.g., HMRC) to maintain the accuracy and integrity of the payroll
- Responsible for auto-enrolment and the completion of all pension transactions and statutory returns
- Responsible for keeping up to date with payroll system updates and continuous development in payroll financial reporting from the system
Person Specification:
- Recognised payroll qualification e.g., CIPP
- Experience of working with Agresso, Unit 4 Business World
- Experience of working in Education, Charitable or Conservatoire sector – Desirable
- Proven experience of managing staff and running payroll in a medium-sized entity
- Excellent IT and systems skills, including a high level of proficiency with Excel
