A position has arisen for an experienced Project Procurement Manager within a leading Defence organisation in Rosyth. This is a 12-month contract with the likelihood of extension thereafter.

Responsibilities:

• Design and engagement of supply chain resources that meet project requirements

• Developing capability of the procurement function to meet current and future business requirements

• Supporting the delivery of project objectives through rigorous management of contract and supplier performance

  Advantageous candidate experience:

• Equivalent through work experience or qualified to degree level with manufacturing / engineering background

• MCIPS, or studying towards MCIPS, else equivalent professional qualification

• Experienced procurement practitioner with good knowledge of current strategic procurement techniques (5+ Years in Sourcing & Procurement)

• Extensive experience (3+ years) working in complex project environments

• Experience of Capex Equipment Procurement

• Proven track record of delivering excellent supply chain performance

• Ability to operate successfully in dual reporting and matrix organisations

• Knowledge of NEC3 suite of contracting terms
