Production Accountant

An exciting position has arisen for a part-time Production Accountant to join an excellent London based Charity . The postholder will be responsible for analysing and reporting financial aspect within the organisation, working closely with the Head of Finance and Production.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare cost analysis reports for productions.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial accounting information for productions.
• Update production budgets and forecasts with the Production Team to maintain accuracy.
• Update production cashflow forecasts in collaboration with the Production Team.
• Report on Theatre Tax Relief (TTR) calculations and provide detailed analysis for audits and claims.
• Handle investor reporting and calculate recoupment schedules.
• Support the Head of Finance in reporting production costs and box office income for monthly management accounts and quarterly Finance Committee reports.
• Experienced in preparing budgets and forecasts

Successful candidate profile:

• Part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or qualified by experience
• Skilled in conveying information effectively in written reports, analysis, and verbally
• Ensures timely extraction of accurate financial data to meet deadlines
• Strong experience in data analysis, reporting, and creating relevant communications and plans
• Excellent knowledge of Excel (XLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Tables)

Length: Fixed Term Contract until March 2025

Rate: £45,000 per annum subject to pro rata (£27,000 per annum)

Hours: 22.5 hours per week, flexible working hours

Working pattern: Hybrid
