Project Contracts Coordinator

A position has arisen for a Projects Contract Coordinator within a highly regarded commercial organisation based in Northamptonshire. This is a key role overseeing and managing contractors within the Estates projects department for a six month temporary, ongoing placement.
The successful candidate should have previous experience coordinating contractors within a fast pace commercial environment.
Your duties will include:

Responsible for overseeing construction contractors including the monitoring of quality, Health & Safety standards and the induction of works operatives within a commercial environment

Monitor the completion of contract works including verification of certificates, drawings and manuals, and upkeep of records

Supervise contractors, including induction, monitoring of quality standards

Monitor and check that construction sites are being managed in a professional, safe and clean manner, reporting to the Estates Projects Department and Contract Administrator

Plan and prioritise works programmes with end users, contractors, maintenance and project management

Arrange works within occupied areas minimising any impact of works upon the provision of the service

Liaise directly between the contractor and the Maintenance Department for shutdowns and provide feedback to Maintenance

Ensure policies, procedures and safe systems of work are adhered to for Estates related works in accordance with statutory requirements and Health & Safety policy
The successful candidate should have:

Experience monitoring and organising contractors previously, ideally within a fast pace commercial environment

Ideally experience using AutoCAD/contract administration systems
