Public Heath Analyst x2
Fully Remote Working
We are currently working with a well-established organisation who are needing the interim support of experienced Public Health Analysts to join them on a 3 month period initially. Please see below for further details on each role:
Public Health Analyst (Data Intelligence Team)
Start: ASAP
Duration: 3 month on-going contracts
Rate: negotiable depending on experience (Inside IR35)
Role responsibilities may include:
- Routinely monitoring and describing the health status of the local population using a variety of different information sources and analytical methods, informing business decisions across the Council and NHS and other partners
- Analysing standard public health databases, such as births, deaths and hospital admissions
- Preparing documents and on line content describing the health of the population
- Providing public health information analysis for the wider Public Health Division
- Supporting the delivery of the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA)
- Supporting in the writing of statistical reports and presentations for committees such as the Health and Well Being Board
- To deliver the data analysis required for the Director of Public Health Annual Report
- Utilising project management methodologies in order to deliver intelligence products
- Delivering response to Subject Access, Freedom of Information and other ad-hoc information requests
- Maintain awareness of relevant policy environment
Public Health Analyst (Test & Trace Governance Team)
Start: ASAP
Duration: 3 month on-going contracts
Rate: negotiable depending on experience (Inside IR35)
Role responsibilities may include:
- Providing specialist support to Public Health intelligence and governance function
- Working with democratic services to ensure smooth delivery of the Health and Wellbeing Board (H&WBB )functions and administration
- Supporting the Service Manager with appropriate governance and delivery reports for Council and Partnership committees
- Representing Public Health at key Council meetings and corporate working groups as and when required by Assistant Director
- To support the strategic and operational development of the H&WBB
- Supporting responses to subject access, data breaches, freedom of information and other ad-hoc information requests in line with policy and legislative requirements
- Ensure responsibilities relating to data sharing agreements are upheld and ensure that staff training is delivered on the delegated statutory functions, for example GDPR and the Data Protection Act
Please note you will not be considered for the roles if you do not have experience working within Public Heath for a Local Government organisation.
