Public Health Service Lead – Covid Recovery
We are currently working with an organisation who are in need of two experienced Public Health Service Leads to join their multi-disciplinary Public Health Division on an interim basis for at least the next three months. Please see below for further information on each position available:
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership and programme management that is focused on Covid mitigation and recovery
- Identify and highlight opportunities for the organisation to improve the health and wellbeing of its citizens and visitors and enhance the organisations recovery from the Covid pandemic
- Formulate policy that can become sustainable practice
- Weave evidence, research, innovation and good practice into a compelling narrative of opportunity
- Turn evidence into policy while working to tight timescales
- Develop and progress collaborative reviews with their research sector
Key Requirements:
- Local Government Public Health experience
- Experience of reducing inequalities at scale
- Experience of working with a wide range of partners and stakeholders in support of Public Health outcomes
Start: ASAP
Duration: 3 months contract initially with likely extensions
Rate: Up to £400 a day dependent on experience umbrella company (Inside IR35)
