Interim Public Health Support Officers – Lateral Flow Testing
Location: West London (site visits required 2/3 times per week)
Status: Inside IR35/
Full Time (37.5hrs/week)
We are looking for x2 support officer to support the Public Health Team in their Lateral Flow Testing. This post would suit a Project Support Officer from a local authority or NHS background.
Day to day responsibilities;
- To help manage the Lateral Flow Testing at the Council
- Escalate and support the management of complex incidents and outbreaks
- Utilise an evidence based approach to manage clinical/professional advice and discussions within the team, seeking senior advice as/when appropriate
- Own and report on LFT data
- Conduct Clinical Audits on the Lateral Flow Testing (training provided)
- Participate in weekly operational meetings with the operational team members and SBC stakeholders to address risks, issues, share learning and celebrate what went well that week
- Raise issues and promote success upward in the governance chain
- Act as a conduit between Council stakeholders and Operational Teams
- Keep up to date with current national and regional guidance regarding Lateral Flow Testing
- Ensure external partners are reported to and met with as required
- Proactively & innovatively seeking solutions to downward trends in testing
- Contribute to addressing the wider health impacts of COVID 19 related to the Public Heath Team
- Complete other Public Health deliverables as required by the PH Consultant, Programme Manager, Deputy Manager
- To be a member of the Council Covid Hub and Public Health Team
- Train to be a Local Contact Tracer to improve resilience within the Covid Hub
