We are currently recruiting on behalf of a social housing provider in Southwest London. The client is looking to bring in a compassionate and hardworking Housing Receptionist on a permanent basis. The postholder will provide a responsive, polite and efficient service dealing with a wide range of customer enquiries on rent, transfer, repairs and other housing management related issues.
Hours: 35 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 08:00 – 16:00
Location: Southwest London
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £25,000 - £26,500

Key duties:
- Deliver a comprehensive, high-quality, customer-focused service that ensures every interaction reflects our commitment to excellence
- Proactively meet and strive to exceed both personal and organisational performance targets, service standards, and objectives
- Manage the company’s lobby and reception area, providing a warm, professional welcome and efficiently directing visitors including customers, contractors, suppliers, and job applicants
- Offer clear, practical advice to tenants and leaseholders, delivering consistently high levels of customer care in line with the Cowley RMO Customer Service Strategy
- Handle inbound telephone enquiries covering a broad range of housing management matters, with a strong focus on logging, progressing, and resolving repair requests promptly and accurately
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience gained dealing with the public face to face and over the telephone
- Understanding of customer care principles
