Rent and Service Charge Accountant

**New Opportunity – Rents and Service Charge Accountant**

Venn Group are working with a Housing Association based in Kent, who are looking to recruit a Rents and Service Charge Accountant to start as soon as possible.

The successful Rents and Service Charge Accountant will be joining a dynamic and growing organisation, who are looking to build out their Rents and Service Charge team.

Title: Rents and Service Charge Accountant
Location: Kent
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum   
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: 6 -12 months Contract ( potentially to go permanent )

Desirable Skills / Experience:

• Rent accounting processes
• Process rent transactions and charges
• Process rent payments
• Review service charges and calculate changes
• Assist with preparation of service charge budgets
• Support the Accounts Payable team with all transactional tasks
• Support with Accounts Receivable tasks where necessary

*Experience working within the Social Housing industry (essential)*

Systems / Qualifications:

• Civica CX / Advanced Financials (desirable)
