Rate: £19.50 per hour inclusive of holiday pay
Venn Group’s specialised education team are excited to be recruiting for a Research Development Officer based in the Nottingham. This role will be offering £19.50 per hour inclusive of holiday pay.

Reporting to the Research and Partnership Development Manager

Developing activities to support academics in securing high quality and high value research and partner-led funding

Maintaining and developing effective relationships with key funding bodies and partner organisations nationally and internationally to optimize inter and intra-School approaches to winning funds and responding to opportunities

Advising and briefing relevant staff on existing and anticipated external funding opportunities, highlighting priorities and opportunities to strengthen and integrate the University’s research strengths and capabilities, to optimize growth in relevant areas

Supporting the Research and Partnership Development Manager with the development of complex high-value funding proposals that are strategically important to the organisation

Providing high-quality bid-writing support for contract research and partner–led bids

Contributing where appropriate to reviewing and providing constructive feedback
