Role: SEND Project Lead
Contract Length: 3 months initially
Working Pattern/Onsite Requirements: Mon-Fri, 5 days per week, 2 days onsite in the office
Our client is looking for an experienced SEND Project Lead to support delivery of key improvement activity across Children and Young People’s Services, with a particular focus on SEND, Families First and wider social care transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Leading and delivering SEND and Families First–related improvement projects.
• Using data, insight and evidence to drive service improvement and better outcomes for children and families.
• Working closely with senior leaders, programme teams and multi-agency partners.
• Supporting implementation of national reforms and embedding sustainable change into core service delivery.
• Managing risks, reporting progress and ensuring effective governance and stakeholder engagement.
Candidate Criteria:
• Strong project or programme leadership experience within SEND and/or Children’s Services.
• Proven experience delivering service improvement or change in a local authority setting.
• Confident working with senior stakeholders and across multi-agency partnerships.
• Experience using data and evidence to inform decision-making and improvement activity.
