Senior Estates Manager

A position has arisen for a Senior Estates Manager within a highly regarded public sector organisation based in Bristol. This is a key role managing the Estates maintenance and repair works for a three to six month temporary placement (with the possibility of extension).
Your duties will include:

Responsible for supporting the Head of Estates in delivering operational Estates services within a healthcare environment

Implement, maintain and record planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activity to ensure the Trust meets all statutory and legislative requirements

Ensure appropriate record keeping for all aspects of Estates planned and reactive maintenance activity in combination with the Operational team, the CAFM system, Estates Helpdesk, and Trust Compliance Manager

Provide support to large teams and advise on building management issues

Manage day to day building maintenance and statutory compliance by DLO and contract labour

Directly line manage estate professionals, conducting regular 1 to 1’s, appraisals and any disciplinary action as and when required

Produce written reports summarising workforce issues/performance and analyse data

Work with CAFM systems to plan maintenance, and interrogate departmental/team performance

Regular liaison with Estates staff, subcontractors and Engineers

Ensure statutory Health & Safety at all times inclusive of environmental compliance
