Senior Governance Manager
Full-time | Permanent | Hybrid working (2 days in-office per week)
£44,709 – £53,347 per annum
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Governance Manager to join a forward-thinking public sector organisation delivering impactful change across a national service.
About the Role
This is a key leadership role within a central change and digital team, with responsibility for embedding strong governance, compliance, and assurance practices across transformation programmes. You will:

Lead internal governance frameworks to ensure high-quality and consistent change delivery

Be the main liaison point with external digital assurance stakeholders

Manage a small team of governance and project support staff

Support planning, reporting, and risk management across multiple projects

Deliver training sessions and facilitate workshops on agile working and governance best practices
What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in governance, compliance, or assurance within a change or transformation environment

Certification or experience with Agile methodologies or project delivery frameworks

Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Confident communicator with experience leading meetings, workshops, or training sessions
