A leading London based University are recruiting a Senior Management Accountant to join their Financial Management team on a part time basis. Reporting to the Head of Management Accounts, the post holder will act as Finance Business Partner for non-academic directorates and will be responsible for the production of the Management Accounts.
Your duties will include:
- Business partner with key stakeholders in faculties/ directorates and enable them to plan and manage their financial affairs
- Support the Head of Management Accounts with the implementation of management accounting processes
- Development of financial plans and budgets
- Complete salary, cash, financial forecasting and balance sheet management
- Produce management accounts for University and subsidiaries
- Support the design and implementation of Finance System Transformation through engagement in stakeholder working groups
Person specification:
- CCAB qualified Accountant
- Proven financial management/ finance business partnering experience
- Excellent knowledge of financial and management accounting frameworks
- Experience working in a large complex organisation
- System skills: strong MS Excel skills, (Oracle experience would be highly desirable)
