Senior Management Information Officer (Children’s)
Salary: £37,722 - £40,869 / Grade: PO3
Based: London (flexible remote working)
Contract: Permanent

Key Responsibilities
- Manage four Children’s Social Care Management Information Officers
- Lead on the completion of statutory returns to the Department for Education (DfE), The Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) and Ofsted, to agreed timeframes, securing input from managers and proper sign off
- Produce data analysis and written reports on all aspects of performance within Children’s Social Care
- Produce management information, performance scorecards and dashboards that meet the needs of managers and social work teams
Skills
- Experience of data analysis, reporting and presenting
- Excellent high level ICT skills, including database reporting and advanced user of Excel
- Knowledge of programming e.g. R, SSRS or SQL, though not essential, would be advantageous
- Experience of data analysis, reporting and presenting to a range of different audiences
- Experience of managing staff or projects

- Collect, collate and analyse large datasets on children and young people
- Provide statistical and other information to support management decision making within the department and to fulfil their obligations for the provision of detailed educational performance information to schools
- Produce data analysis, presentations and written reports on all aspects of education
Skills
- Experience of analysing datasets, benchmarking and creating performance information
- Able to collate, analyse, interpret and present data and statistical information on all aspects of education
- Excellent high level ICT skills, including advanced user of Excel and knowledge of programming e.g. R, SSRS or SQL, though not essential, would be advantageous
- Experience of partnership working, report writing and presenting to a range of different audiences
