Senior Public Health Principal – Children’s Commissioning
Location: London
Length: 3-6 months initially
IR35 Status: Inside
- Contract management of 0-19 healthy child services, including health visiting and school nursing
- Step down of Family Nurse Partnership and development of in-house support for vulnerable young families
- Management of COVID recovery, service development and transformation for children's public health services
- Lead Child Healthy weight strategy review in context of COVID recovery and delivery of priorities in Children and Young People's Plan
- Support for management and implementation of Autism Strategy
- Input into i-thrive model implementation, for children and young people's mental health
Experience required:
- Extensive experience of working at this level at least, in a local authority or similar working environment
- Strong and competent Children’s Commissioner
- Experience working within Public Health
SEND Commissioner
Location: West London
Length: 3 months (initially)
- To provide commissioning leadership to CLS in response to meeting the needs of children with SEND
- To develop a robust SEND commissioning and compliance framework for SEND Services to ensure they meet the needs of children and young people
- To develop joint commissioning arrangements with Health providers
Experience required:
- Demonstrate success in supporting positive outcome for Children’s and Young People
- Experience in Procurement, Contract management, specification development
- Successful in involvement in improving outcomes/raising achievement by the application of quality assurance methods
- Analysis of performance data to raise standards and monitor performance
