1st Line Support/Service Desk Analyst – West Yorkshire

Venn Group’s Yorkshire IT team are recruiting for experienced 1st Line Support/Service Desk Analyst’s to join a busy service desk team! We are currently representing multiple organisations in the area and have both permanent and temporary positions available depending on what you would prefer.
Location: West Yorkshire
Rate: £11 – 15 per hour (dependant on PAYE or Umbrella)
Duration: 6 months initially
Start: Immediate
Day to day duties:
- The successful candidate will join the technical service desk and assist customers with all IT support related issues
- Answer IT Support calls in a polite and professional manner and respond to support queries submitted by email and other means within Service Level agreements
- Resolve tickets at first point of contact wherever possible/appropriate, or assign to the relevant team queue for completion
- Monitor IT Support voice mailbox
- Prioritise incoming requests to identify trends and set resolution timescales based on impact and urgency of the issue
- The opportunity to learn and support current technology
- Support the IT Team Leader to ensure high levels of customer service are always achieved
- Identify and escalate high priority/urgent issues to relevant personnel
- Responsible for incident and problem management
- Accurately record information from customers ensuring to provide sufficient information for timely completion of incidents and requests
