Venn Group is working with the an organisation that supports UK Parliament to recruit multiple Service Engineers to provide high quality technical support and customer advice via telephone, email and in person, plus coaching and floor-walking support.
The working pattern will require 100% onsite attendance Monday – Friday in central London.
The contract length will be 3-months (with possibility of extension) working a professional day of minimum 8 hours (40-hour per week) excluding breaks; Mon-Fri excluding weekends and public holidays.
NB: Successful candidates will need to go through CTC security checks.
The client requires candidates to work on an Umbrella basis. This role is Inside IR35.
These roles are to start ASAP, pending checks and onboarding.
Responsibilities required in post:
- Knowledge of Service Desk processes and procedures, and ability to ensure they are followed correctly
- Ability to supervise, motivate, answer queries, lead and support a diverse team of staff in a fast-paced environment working calmly and efficiently under pressure
- Ability to engage with ICT users to deliver excellent advice, technical support and solutions through a variety of methods, including coaching
- Excellent technical knowledge including common hardware, hardware build processes, supported operating systems, software and office productivity tools
- Technical Skills – Microsoft Windows, Apple Mac OS, Microsoft Office 365
