Are you an experienced Study Co-Ordinator with a passion for research or audits? We are seeking a proactive and organised Study Co-Ordinator to join our team within the NHS
Education / Qualifications
• Good standard of secondary and higher education (must include English and Mathematics)
• University graduate or equivalent experience
• Administrative management qualification or equivalent experience
Experience
• Past experience in research or audit.
• Experience of setting up and manipulating data in spread sheets (Excel, Access) past experience in medical research.
• Basic understanding of science theory and statistical methods
• Experience of literature searching.
• Finance/budget management experience
• Familiar with research practices
• Knowledge of the EU Clinical Trials Directive, Good Clinical Practice and research governance.
• Familiar with clinical data and medical terminology
• Past experience in health care
Skills/abilities
• excellent organisational and time management skills
• Good IT skills including competency in word processing, email and internet
• Ability to organise meetings, take minutes, prepare papers, liaise with research collaborators
• Basic accounting skills sufficient to input and maintain budget spread sheets
• Data manipulation skills in Microsoft Excel/Access (preferably in using queries and simple formula).
