Womens Refuge Support Worker (IPA)
Venn Group are looking for a Support Worker in Newport to Support Victims of domestic violence and their families in a Refuge setting
*Under schedule 9 Part one of the equality act this role is exempt, this role is only open to female applicants.

Pay Rate: £15.41 - £17.41 (VIA UMBRELLA)
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Create, implement and develop support plans
- De-escalate challenging situations
- Accompany service users to appointments and help apply for benifits
- Conduct Risk and Needs Assesments
- Represent service users at MARAC meetings
- Follow safeguarding procedures
- Manage a small caseload
The successful candidate will have:
- • Experience working with vulnerable adults and/or people with complex needs
- • A DBS on the update service
