Supported Living Registered Manager
Our client, a prestigious support provider in Salisbury urgently requires a Registered Manager to join their team in providing support to those with moderate to severe mental health difficulties to access treatment and rehabilitation services.

Contract duration: Permanent
Hours: 35 Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm (occasional out of hours cover will be required)

Salary: £32,025.17 to £35,734.46 DOE
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Provide effective line management to staff, including dealing with conduct, performance and attendance issues under relevant policies and procedures
- Monitor case work, reviewing and assessing referrals with the Head of Service and Team Leaders
- Ensure the delivery of safe, personalised services to each individual service user through assessment, person-centred planning and regular outcome focused reviews of services
- Maximise service user experience through developing an effective complaints management culture and recording on Sphera in line with internal policies and procedures
- Take a safeguarding lead role in the service, ensuring effective safeguarding practice and reporting and establishing effective professional relationship with the safeguarding team
- Support, supervise, motivate and develop a team of Support Workers ensuring appraisals, personal development plans to achieve the care certificate and learning activities are undertaken that meet the needs of staff in registered services and are evaluated for effectiveness.
- Develop the use of volunteers ensuring they have the knowledge, information, and resources to be successful in their roles and make a positive and valued contribution to the service
- Act as investigating officer for complaints, disciplinary matters, sickness management or grievances, as required
- Respond to Quality audits and Health and Safety audits, providing updates on action plans required, within agreed timescales
- Engage with community events, meetings and forums to promote the services across Salisbury
Essential criteria include:
- Achieved (or working towards) Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health & Social Care or the equivalent
- 2 years relevant experience in an operational management capacity in a health/social care setting
- A current enhanced DBS
