Systems Accountant (SC Cleared)

Hourly Rate: up to£35.15 per hour (via Umbrella)
Contract Duration: until September 2022
Our client is looking for a Systems Accountant. This role will provide support to the Finance Functional Lead, central to the delivery of SAP as a replacement ERP solution. This is a long-term contract role until September 2022.
Day to day responsibilities:
- Promote best practice in cleansing and maintaining data prior to migration
- Contribute to the design and development of the solution
- Support communications and delivery of training to the Finance function
Essential Requirements:
- Professional Accountancy Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a systems accounting role
- Previous experience of system implementation and business change programmes
- Working knowledge of SAP
Desirable Requirements:
- Working knowledge of IFS
- Defence and\or Engineering sector experience
