Rate of pay: £55 - £59.49 P/h (umbrella)

Brief Summary
Our client requires a Systems Engineer to support their Landing Gear Systems Development Activities, principally focused on the Braking Control and Wheel Steering Control Systems.
This is a full-time position working hybrid
Responsibilities
- Work with and support the Engineering team to develop the technical solution
- Ensuring that Design Review deliverables will result in a easily-Certifiable product
- Supporting/ enabling the development of V&V planning throughout the design development life cycle
- Resolution of technical (in-service) incidents (concept design, drawing technical notes, instructions or specifications) ready to be manufactured or repaired; challenge customer request technically and economically
- Embrace the opportunity provided by the new digital technologies in the attempt to improve Operational Reliability of the products
Required Skillset
- Aerospace systems experience or landing gear experience – 5+ years
- Understanding about processes and requirement – V&V
- Doing work within Systems Equipment – equipment design or investigation
- Experience managing sub-contractors would be a bonus
- Analysis test results would be beneficial
