Duration: 6 months
Rate: Up to £50 per hour Umbrella Inside IR35
Working hours: 15 hours across two days to include some evening / weekend working by prior arrangement

Our client is currently looking for a Technical Officer to join them on a 6 months basis initially. The main purpose of the job will be to provide technical support within Regulatory Services, including undertaking inspections, investigations and appropriate follow up actions including advice, support and enforcement action.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the efficient execution of the range of duties reasonably expected of, and commensurate with the professional competence of a Technical Assistant.
- Inspect premises, investigate complaints and initiate any action required.
- Be specifically responsible for the execution of the range of duties from time to time assigned to the sectional division of the service.
- Be responsible for properly implementing the organisation’s Policies, Standing Orders, Delegated Powers and other requirements in connection with the function.
- Prepare, or assist in the preparation of, such reports and financial or statistical information as may be required, including matters relating to annual reports and reports to Committees.
- Attend such Committee or other meetings with outside bodies as required as a representative of the Service and/or organisation and if necessary report thereon.
- Must complete compulsory online training for all Borough Council staff / agency staff in first week
Requirements:
- Full driving licence and access to vehicle insured for work purposes.
- Enhanced DBS
- Familiarity with CIVICA App would be an advantage.
