Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for international trade and finance? We are looking for a highly motivated Trade Finance Officer to join our dynamic team on a fixed-term contract. Based in London, this is a hybrid role offering the flexibility to work from home whilst maintaining a strong presence in our London office.

Key Responsibilities:
- Processing Trade Finance Transactions: Handle the end-to-end processing of documentary credits, letters of credit (LCs), and guarantees, ensuring compliance with international standards (UCP 600, URDG, etc.).
- Risk Management: Analyse and assess the creditworthiness of counterparties, issuing banks, and countries to mitigate potential trade-related risks.
- Document Verification: Scrutinize trade documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and certificates of origin, ensuring adherence to trade agreements and contractual obligations.
- Customer Relationship Management: Act as the point of contact for clients, resolving queries and providing expert guidance on trade finance products and services.
- Collaboration with Internal Teams: Liaise with relationship managers, compliance, and credit risk teams to ensure smooth and efficient processing of trade finance deals.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with global trade finance regulations, sanctions, and anti-money laundering (AML) policies, ensuring that all transactions are compliant.
- Transaction Reporting and Monitoring: Ensure accurate reporting of trade finance activities and monitor transaction progress, ensuring timely execution of client requests.
What We Are Looking For:
- Proven experience in trade finance operations (letters of credit, guarantees, documentary collections, etc.).
- Familiarity with UCP 600, URDG, and other relevant trade finance guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
