Complaints Officer – NHS Organisation (London)
Rate: £25.65 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract: Until 31st March 2026
Location: London (Hybrid working may be considered)
Are you an experienced NHS Complaints Officer with a passion for improving patient experience? A London-based NHS organisation is seeking a dedicated professional to join their team on a contract basis until the end of March 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and investigate formal complaints in line with NHS regulations and internal policies.
- Liaise with patients, families, and internal departments to ensure timely and empathetic resolution.
- Maintain accurate records and produce high-quality written responses.
- Use the Datix system to log, track, and report on complaints.
- Support the organisation in identifying themes and trends to improve service delivery.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience in a complaints handling role within the NHS or a similar healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in using Datix for complaints management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
