Interim Director – Adults Social Care

Location: London, Hybrid

As Director you will be part of a strong and committed Directorate Leadership Team and will lead and be supported by a stable senior team. You will provide strategic leadership on adult safeguarding and adult social care and work collaboratively across the whole Council to deliver the best possible outcomes for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading on improvement and transformation in the service you will continue to progress the service’s vision for Adults Social Care and CQC readiness preparation following a successful ADASS peer review
• Drive integration between health and social care, collaborating with key stakeholders across the Health and Social care Partnerships
• Effectively evaluate the performance of suppliers, contractors, consultants, and other delivery partners on a regular basis to ensure regulatory targets are met, quality of workmanship and service is maintained
• Identify improvements, build partnerships and improve outcomes

Experience & Knowledge:

• Strong leadership and line management experience
• Social work Qualified by background with proven experience leading teams across Adults Social Care
• Evidence leading and improving Services through collaborative partnership working
• Commit to living and working the Councils Values
• Proven ability to motivate lead by example
