Data Analyst – Electric Vehicle Research

Our client, a global organisation, urgently require an Data Analyst experienced to undertake a long term contract.

In order to be successful, you will have the following experience:

• Fundamentals of python including knowledge of debugging, algorithms, data structures, objects and arrays
• Degree educated in STEM field
• Experience of data analysis within industry, preferably automotive, power electronics, powertrains or energy networks

Within this role, you will be responsible for:

• Filter, process, analyse and report large data sets using python or equivalent to meet project requirements
• Contribute to annual and monthly reports, respond positively to feedback and priortise usefulness to the final output
• Support electric vehicle research team with trend research, horizon scanning and data analysis
• The successful candidate will be working across the fields of automotive trends, batteries for electric vehicles, advanced power electronics and electricity network integration (knowledge of at least one or more of these areas is an advantage)
• Specific projects will require the filtering, processing and analysis of raw data collected from various measurement and quantifying systems
• Contribute to the production of predictive modelling tools
