Data Protection & Governance Analyst – Banking
Venn Group are currently recruiting for a Data Governance Analyst to join an existing Project team within a bank in London. In this position, candidates will support the Data Governance Manager and Data Governance policy implementation across the bank, accounting for regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR) and assuring stringent compliance with the firm’s internal policies and goals.
This contract position requires candidates to have demonstrable Financial Services experience, preferably within a Banking environment. They will have a good understanding of GDPR and associated Data Protection and Data Privacy regulations, such as PECR.
It would be advantageous if candidates have had exposure to GDPR implementation in Germany, responding to German Financial Services regulators, and implementing similar projects in the region.
This team welcomes individuals who are communicative and experienced working within complex teams to deliver projects; therefore, candidates should be confident presenting to working groups, collaborating with various departments, and managing external stakeholders’ expectations throughout.
Candidates will liaise with internal departments daily, assuring the roll out and adherence to data protection policies, thereby improving the collective information security agenda of the bank.
