EA to CEO
An exciting role has arisen for an EA to CEO to join a rapidly growing internationally recognised Children’s Charity. For over 10 years they have worked directly in several countries to safely transform systems of care and protection, helping to ensure children can grow up in loving families. The role will be working extremely closely with the Executive Leadership Team and will report directly to the CEO.
Your duties will include:
- Maintaining CEO diary and making appointments with staff, trustees, external colleagues from the CEO’s personal network and high-profile donors
- Coordinating the CEO’s travel and accommodation needs, both international and domestic
- Daily management and triaging of the CEO’s incoming emails and prioritising them
- Organising internal and external meetings for CEO and Executive Leadership Team
- Taking minutes for Executive Leadership Team meetings and other executive meetings, distributing, and organising papers/speakers/presentations, as well as setting agendas
- Writing regular communications on behalf of the CEO
- Managing the logistics of the quarterly global meetings and monthly London office meetings and lunch
- Working with the Deputy Director of Operations and HR to recruit trustees and ensure their induction plan is developed
- Escalate areas of concern to the CEO and represent the CEO’s views accurately
- Manage as much of the day-to-day operational work as possible, ensuring the CEO is able to complete his priorities
- Manage various projects as required
- Be a more important point of contact between the trustees and the ELT
- Provide support to the board, arrange, and handle the logistics for board meetings and events, draft agendas for committee meetings, develop, compile and distribute papers and presentation materials
- Support with Trustee and Committee recruitment and programme of induction
- Arrange formal compliance requests/documents to and from the Trustees
The successful candidate MUST HAVE:
- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar EA / PA role
- Experience in similar role for a Charity
- An excellent understanding of Charity Governance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience of Microsoft Office

Working Pattern: 2 days in office / 3 days from home
