Job Title: Head of Asset Management and Retrofit

Venn Group has been approached by a Housing Association in the North East to recruit a Head of Asset Management and Retrofit on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will have experience working in a similar role previously
Role outline:

- Developing and implementing our asset management and investment strategies, leading the delivery of our retrofit and decarbonisation objectives, and driving opportunities to maximise the wider social value and financial return from their assets
- Lead, inspire and engage people to fulfil their potential and enjoy being part of their shared vision
- Seek out opportunities to continuously improve services to meet challenging targets, help take them to the next level of delivering a great customer experience and be at the forefront of working with local and regional partners and stakeholders
- Lead the collaborative development and delivery of reconciled short, medium and long term investment plans which inform the business and demonstrate a strategic approach to value for money
- Lead the development and delivery of programmes for the Retrofit and decarbonisation of their assets which target affordable warmth, environmental sustainability and ensure least regret
- Utilise your experience and drive to maximise the sourcing and successful capture of external funding opportunities to allow the acceleration of their retrofit and sustainability programme and resolve the challenges they face in delivering the Governments Net Zero strategy
- As the data owner and controller, lead on the development, maintenance and validation of the core property data, compliance databases and other property related databases, ensuring that the core property data is accurate, reconciled, timely and validated to provide a single version of the truth
- Provide expert advice and produce timely reports to support the Director, management teams and project teams on matters relating to your service area
Requirements:
- Chartered Status or Degree or significant demonstrable and relevant experience at a similar level
- Experience of collaborating and working as part of an effective senior management team
- Ability to think strategically and make clear decisions on complex issues whilst being able to develop plans and programs to achieve strategic corporate objectives
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of the current and evolving key regulatory requirements/standards within the housing sector
