As a Head of Health, Safety and Risk, you will be responsible for the successful delivery, implementation and enhancement of a quality safety and risk management framework

You will be responsible for developing systems and processes that systematically recognises, reports, analyses, evaluates and minimises risks

The successful candidate must have experience in working within the NHS

Project & duties will include:

• Accountable to the Associate Director of Integrated Governance, undertaking a corporate role, with significant responsibility for the successful delivery, implementation and enhancement of a quality safety and risk management framework

• Responsible for developing systems and processes that systematically recognises, reports, analyses, evaluates and minimises risks

• Ensure compliance with health and safety statutory duties and set regulatory standards across a wide, diverse portfolio of services

• Responsible for leading, coordinating and directing the work of the team and to actively engage with Divisions

• Work closely with Quality and Safety Leads, in ensuring quality safety and risk management systems and processes are implemented and are being used effectively, ensuring organisational wide learning is coordinated and embedded into practice

Essential Skills/Qualifications

• Educated to post graduate level in a health and safety or risk management discipline

• Worked within a large, diverse healthcare organisation

• Computer literate, use of Microsoft smart suite applications
