Head of Planning Law - Director
Venn Group’s legal team are recruiting for a Head of Planning Law and Director to join a reputable private practice organisation based in Birmingham. The position is offered on a full-time basis, with the possibility of flexible working.
The successful applicant will possess a thorough knowledge of planning law and will have managed a caseload of matters. Applications are welcome from qualified Solicitors or Legal Executives with relevant experience; ideally gained from within local government.
Day-to-day duties will include:
- Handling a range of Planning matters including s106 agreements
- Leading other members of the team in a line management capacity
- Deal with recruitment and selection and appraisals
- Advising on Right of Way enquiries
- Attending Planning Enforcement meetings
- Manage high volumes of planning and highways transactions
- Advising on a variety of general Planning Law enquiries
