Are you a driven property or planning specialist looking to make a difference in the public sector? Venn Group is working with a positive and welcoming legal team in a London Borough in their pursuit of a Housing Disrepair Paralegal on a locum basis for an initial 3-month period.

Duties may include:
•              Supporting the Housing Litigation Solicitors with drafting court applications and documents
•              Opening new Iken files for Housing Disrepair claims and undertaking the initial steps including and not limited to: reply to claimant Solicitor, instruct Surveyor, request disclosure document from client dept, prepare disclosure document.
•              Preparing, revising, and finalising documents/court hearing bundles/reports
•              Holding a limited caseload of Housing Disrepair files
•              Undertaking evaluation and assessment on liability and quantum on Housing Disrepair claims

Requirements:

• Experience working a caseload in either housing litigation or housing disrepair
• Experience working for any public sector organisation or local authority
• Law degree, ideally an SQE
