Job Title: Legal Assistant – Crime (Temporary)

Job description: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Temporary Legal Assistant to join an established Crime Department in a Private Practice in Manchester, working full time hours over 4 months with the possibility of extension. The role is due to commence in November 2022.

Duties:

• Attending Chester Crown Court almost every day
• Assisting the Crime Department with a VHCC – concerning a high value, complex fraud case
• Taking notes, taking instructions from clients and providing an extra pair of hands on a busy case

The successful candidate will have worked as a Legal Assistant in a Crown Court, or within Crime before.

Salary: £18 – £22 per hour
