Locum Employment Lawyer

Venn Group are seeking a Locum Employment Lawyer on behalf of a Greater Manchester Local Authority. Previous local government experience is strongly preferred.

Start: ASAP

Duration: 3 month rolling contract

Working Arrangement: Full-time, 37 hours per week

Travel: Can be fully remote

Rate: £55-60 per hour, umbrella

Duties:

• Advising on contentious and non-contentious employment law issues, including disciplinary, grievance, and redundancy matters
• Managing Employment Tribunal claims from initial response through to final hearing
• Drafting and reviewing employment policies, procedures, and contracts
• Providing clear, pragmatic, and timely advice to internal stakeholders at all levels
