Payroll Manager
Venn Group is currently looking to recruit to a permanent Payroll Manager, working within a not-for-profit organisation based in Essex. The salary on offer is between £28000 - £29500, commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
- Working in a team processing weekly and monthly payrolls
- Dealing with payroll queries and liaising with HMRC when required
- Monitoring and updating payroll compliance
- Pension processing
- Processing starters and leavers including P11Ds, P45s and P60s
- Applying staff benefits
Requirements
- 3+ years payroll experience
- Managed or supervised staff members previously
- Be a team player whilst demonstrating the capability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve
- Excellent communication skills
- Being adaptable and pro-active with a “Can Do” approach
- Able to prioritise and maintain self-control when working under pressure
- Working knowledge of payroll systems
