Procurement Team Leader/Procurement Analyst
Location: Southampton

Rate: £15-19 p/h

Our client, a public sector organisation in London is looking to appoint a Procurement Team Leader/Procurement Analyst to join their team for a 3-month period. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to advance their public sector procurement career working for an exceptional organisation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
- Improving purchase order levels, ensuring maximum use of available catalogues, smart forms etc., and minimising non-PO spend
- Lead responsibility for delivering and maintaining the e-procurement projects within the team ensuring the P2P process operates efficiently
- To be the first point of contact for all purchase to pay queries for users of the purchasing system & all other P2P ordering systems
- Overall managerial responsibilities for the Operational Buying Team
- Ensuring high quality data is entered into the eProcurement platform
- Running reports to identify user non-compliance (non-PO, spend off contract etc.) and proactively determine actions to be taken
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Experience in procurement system administration or ordering processes
- Experience of an e-procurement system
- Experience of using a P2P processes and systems
- Experience of running KPI reports and managing non-compliance
