Interim Project Manager - Communications
Based in London
Length: 3 months initially
Rate: £300 per day

The Communications team of a London borough are currently recruiting for an Interim Project Manager to organise and support the delivery of their service by establishing and managing a range of processes, proposals and projects.
Role brief and responsibilities:
- Planning and organising work to support the communications team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality campaign, activities and programmes
- Leading on the delivery and management of complex projects as required by the Director of Communications
- Working closely with senior management as well as the change team and leadership office, developing good working relationships and ensuring stakeholders are engaged with activity relevant to them
- Preparing and presenting results, reports and recommendations for both internal and external use
- Identifying, recommending and supporting the development and delivery of improvements and contributing to the development and implementation of policies, procedures and systems
Skills and experience required:
- Previously managed projects within complex and challenging environments
- Evidence of project delivery and managing a mixed and varied workload with conflicting priorities
- Strong organisational, problem-solving and report writing skills
- Demonstrable stakeholder engagement and management skills
- Worked within, or have knowledge of, local government organisations (desirable)
