We are currently recruiting a Purchase Ledger Clerk on behalf of one of our clients (a major Corporate Travel Agency) in the Higher Whitley area in Cheshire.
Day-to-day duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Investigate any errors occurring between the invoiced amount and the booking amount.
- Post Sterling and foreign currency invoices to SAGE via AutoEntry.
- Conduct Weekly prepayment run and payments.
- Work on any Adhoc projects to assist the department including sales invoicing and credit card reconciliations.
The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:
- Previous purchase ledger experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good level of personal organization, time management, multi-tasking and workload prioritisation
- Ability to work under pressure & react quickly to change
- Self-motivated
- Positive and helpful attitude, a good ambassador for the business
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Excellent numerical skills and commercial awareness
- Demonstrates integrity
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work across departments
- Computer literate
- Knowledge of SAGE Line 50 and AutoEntry.
- Knowledge of Business Travel software Micros would be advantageous but not a necessity
