Simulation Technician

Venn Group is currently working with a prestigious NHS Trust based in London to recruit an Simulation Technician to join their fast paced, dynamic team.
Rate: £162.50 PAYE / £180.10 Umbrella per day
Location: London – hybrid working to be confirmed
Hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Duration: up to 6 months
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance to the Clinical Simulation Centre technology innovations projects
- Maintain and troubleshoot simulation manikin systems and Audio-Visual equipment for the Simulation Centre and for mobile Simulation sessions around the Trust; training in these systems will be provided
- Set up simulation equipment and clinical consumables required for simulated scenarios, as directed by clinical faculty
- Carry out audits of equipment as required, reporting results to the Clinical Simulation Centre team as necessary
- Maintain an inventory of all simulation equipment and ensure that all equipment loaned out is maintained, tracked and returned
- To receive, set up and test new simulators and related equipment
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience of working in a simulation or similar technical setting
- Substantial recent work experience in a similar technician role
- Use of MS Office 2010 incl. Word Excel, PowerPoint, Access and corporate email systems
- Able to troubleshoot technical problems that may arise with the complex technical equipment used within the CSC
