Interim Strategic Consultant – SEND / Alternative Provision

A large County Council are looking for an interim Consultant to support the strategic review of their SEND / AP services.

You’ll be required to;

Review the alternative provision services, alongside the wider SEND provision, using the structure of the SEND & AP Change Programme with its 3-tier model as a framework.
Plan how to achieve a sustainable 3-tier service for Alternative Provision (AP).
Support the creation of the Local Area Inclusion Plan (LAIP), while using the LAIP process to forecast demand for alternative provision over a multi-year period.
Engage with providers and settings how demand can best be met.
Focus on early and accurate identification of needs and inclusion.
Advise and support strategic and individual commissioning of services, and ensuring any changes to service delivery are based on creating an inclusive system with improved provision in mainstream schools.
Develop a range of resources to monitor impact and effectiveness.
Develop the councils strategy for Appropriate and Alternative Provision
