Philip is one of the original team of five people who started Venn Group in 2001, after more than ten years building recruitment businesses in commerce and industry, public sector, IT and financial services. He has headed Venn Group’s development in professional contract and temporary recruitment, from start-up to its present 380+ employees and £140m+ turnover.
Public Sector and Commerce & Industry
Since joining as a Director in 2002, Avtar has successfully opened 7 offices for Venn Group; taking each one up to profitability within a 12 month period. Avtar has gained detailed knowledge of contracts and interim markets across a variety of sectors, most notably IT, Finance, Legal, HR, Housing, Procurement and Communications, in the Public and Private Sectors.
Corporate Services and National Business Development
Jodie started her career at Venn Group in the Technology division where she managed teams across the public sector and financial services divisions. After enjoying success in these areas, Jodie moved to a central remit to set up a National Accounts division, developing business across strategic accounts and took on responsibility of the Corporate Services function, which led to her promotion to Director in 2016.
Financial Operations and Technical Services
Keith joined Venn Group in 2001 and is a qualified Chartered and Certified Accountant with responsibility for all financial operations and technical services within Venn Group. Keith has created a robust and flexible support function which operates three payrolls per week while restricting the company’s average DSO to industry leading levels. Since inception, Venn Group’s financial reporting has defined our status as a specialist in contract recruitment.
After the successful creation of a Managed Vendor unit and raising the profitably of the Bristol office Robert was promoted to Director in 2006. As well as managing business units in Bristol and London, Robert set up our compliance team and managed the internal Corporate Communications and HR functions. Robert’s focus is now Finance, Procurement, HR, Communications and Risk & Compliance with Public and Private Sectors.
Legal, Local Government, Housing and Financial Services
Robert was promoted to Director in 2008 after successfully developing and strengthening the Financial Services market. He has since expanded his experience to cover a range of markets in London, including Legal, Local Government, Housing and Financial Services.
Public Sector and Commerce & Industry
Promoted to Director in 2005, Ross was essential in the development of the Dublin and Birmingham offices and the financial services market. Ross spent eight years in London where he was responsible for our financial services division and later was fundamental in establishing our growth in the NHS and wider public sector. Since 2013 Ross has been developing our public and private sector teams in Manchester and Leeds, within IT, HR, Finance, Legal and Communication disciplines.
Joining as a director in 2001 Stan was integral in the set-up of the London Finance & Legal sectors followed by the set-up of new offices in Manchester, Leeds and Dublin. During his time at Venn Group Stan has covered the full range of disciplines and provided staff across all levels in both the Public and Private sectors, and is now responsible for Venn Group's UK wide Engineering division.
Healthcare & Life Sciences
Tim joined Venn Group in January 2005 with a view to developing Venn Group’s NHS & Healthcare presence in London across IT, Business Intelligence, Risk & Governance, Commissioning & Operations and Estates & Facilities. The success Tim had in these markets meant he was promoted to director in 2014 and is now responsible for Venn Group's presence within the technology market across the UK, from our digital hub within Thames Valley.
